Client Development Manager
Description

Business Development Managers are responsible for developing and managing client relationships. Development Managers foster business relationships with potential and existing clients, develop client-specific strategies aimed at increasing revenue, and build overall client satisfaction. Our client relationship team is focused on helping build teams for clients and spends the majority of time communicating with clients outside of the office.

Our team works with technology leaders to find software engineering talent in the following areas: .NET, JAVA, Full stack, API, UX, UI, DevOps, Data Science, AI/ML, Product Owner/Analyst, Digital Strategy, Database Management, Project Management, Mobile Development and Quality Assurance. We’re seeking a business development manager for the West Coast with experience working with engineering leaders. This is a great opportunity for someone with established relationships, a strong sales mentality and a drive to succeed.In addition to medical/dental benefits and vacations, we offer a base salary and commission.

Responsibilities

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Identify sales opportunities and sell consultative solutions and services to new clients.
Be accountable for revenue targets
Leverage your existing relationships and network to open new business
Generate contacts and leads to establish new business
Partner with clients to define strategic objectives and hiring needs.
Develop client-specific strategies aimed at achieving revenue and gross profit.
Regularly conduct site visits and review meetings with client managers.
Build and maintain subject matter expertise on industry trends, market activities and competitor strategies.
Recommend and assist with implementing service improvements.
Establish and maintain a network of industry contacts through participation in technology associations.
Assist in setting sales, pricing and marketing strategies.
Assess the effectiveness of strategies and recommend changes and best practices.
Produce, analyze and communicate sales forecasts and other related reports to key stakeholders.
Maintain a community presence by networking with local leaders and associations
Provide guidance and coaching to new or less-experienced team members as requested.
Participate in company activities and build professional, positive relationships with co-workers.
Manage communication and be involved in the complete recruitment cycle – from interviewing candidates to placing them with our clients.

Qualifications

What we expect:

Bachelor’s Degree in business, software, or a related field.
4+ years of business development / account management experience in technology staffing and recruitment or consulting services
Proven experience in carrying a book of business, developing new pipeline opportunities, and generating revenue
Recent history of target achievement and new business acquisition. Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and account results
Strong understanding of the Digital technology environment on a local and national level- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong sales acumen, strategic sales mentality and client relationship management capabilities
Strong relationship building skills, particularly with key decision makers and C-level executives
Ability to adapt to changes in the business environment quickly.
Ability to focus on client needs with a commitment to quality and customer service.
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Ability to identify and resolve problems through recommending and implementing creative solutions
Ability to demonstrate business acumen and market insight.
High degree of integrity and ethics, working remotely and building professional relationships.
Knowledge of and the ability to utilize Customer Relationship Management Systems, Project management and/or related tools.
Knowledge of current sales trends, best practices and methodologies within the staffing and workforce solutions industries.
Self-motivated with self-confidence and patience and a strong desire to exceed expectations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
